Not sure what I've just let myself in for HOWEVER I am proud to say I will be running the Virgin London Marathon in 2015 for Leukaemia Care! I have pledged to raise at LEAST £2000 for this small charity started by a group of families whose children had a blood cancer, and now offer support to patients and families of all ages. 

23 Years ago my family was one of those, when my beautiful 19 year old auntie Kellie was still being treated for Leukaemia, with transplants from my Mum and auntie Emma that saved her life. Last year I also sadly lost my Grandpa to another long battle with blood cancer - Lymphoma. I've seen the effect blood cancer has, so Grandpa and Kels i'll be running for you, because were all so lucky to have, and to have had you xxxxxxx   

When my family went through this, Leukaemia CARE provided support to them emotionally, financially etc that they couldn't have done without. Their aid reaches families like mine and makes a real difference when it matters most. Leukaemia Care encompasses aid for all blood, bone, and lymphatic cancers patients AND their families.
