Morocco High Atlas Trek for The Children's Society · 27 August 2016

Loughborough University students are trekking the Moroccan High Atlas Mountains in 2016 for The Children's Society to help children and young people who suffer extreme hardship, abuse and neglect.

Story

I am mountain trekking in Morocco for The Children's Society!

The Children's Society is a UK based charity who work hard to help young people who have not been as fortunate as myself and many others. They run campaigns to raise awareness for issues affecting young people and provide support workers to help those who need it. Some areas the charity focuses help towards are runaways, children in poverty and those victim to sexual exploitation.

In August 2016 I am taking on the MASSIVE challenge of a 5 day trek up mountains on the edge of the Sahara to raise awareness and financial support for the work The Children's Society does so that they can continue and have a positive impact on the lives of so many young people.

Throughout the year I will be doing lots of things to help reach my target of £1400; so feel free to leave a donation here or put money into events or raffles for a chance to win. If you would like to support me in reaching this target for The Children's Society in other ways, please get in touch!

I will keep this page updated with my fundraising and training efforts in the run up to the trip.

Thanks for your time and any donations are very much appreciated.
