Morrisons Great Manchester Run 2015 · 10 May 2015 ·

Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by young sudden cardiac death (YSCD). We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.

Story

On the 18th January 2015 heaven gained a special little boy, Charlie Holden was a very bright and funny boy who had a good sense of humour and a wide range of friends. The death of charlie was devastated to everyone, the cause of his death was SADS, sudden arrhythmic death syndrome.

CRY is a national SADS charity which offers support and information to families who have suffered a loss to SADS. By taking part in the Manchester 10k run on the 10th May i am hoping to raise awareness of this condition (SADS) so more people can raise and support cardiac charities like CRY.

Charlie will be missed by many people and will always be in everyones hearts, charlie has made everyone proud, heaven gained a new special angel, RIP Charlie💓
