One afternoon over the Christmas period  I was sat on the sofa at my parents house half watching Home Alone 2, half flicking through Instagram and came across something called Charity: Water.

I don’t know what made me watch their video but I did & in doing so discovered that 663 million people around the world are currently living without clean water. Some families walk for hours every day to find water & then the only water they find is dirty and carries diseases which makes them really sick.

This January is my birthday & instead of organising the usual pub drinks I’m donating it to charity:water & asking my friends and family to donate the price of a drink to support this charity & help some of those 663 million.
