In memory of Baby Scott James O'sullivan

Every 9 days in Scotland a baby or child will die suddenly and unexpectedly - many of their families will never know why they died. As the only charity in Scotland dedicated to the issue of Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy (SUDI), we provide support, education resources and fund research.

Story

On the 15th of July 2012, a beautiful baby boy was born. It was 6.21 am when our cute wee guy said hello. We called him Scott James Osullivan Jr. right from the start after his daddy.

He was a big healthy boy with the brightest blue eyes and the cutest little squeak. He loved his cuddles and he liked his dummy's. Each day was a blessing to have him with us and we never knew how little time we had together.

On the 15th of August, our beautiful baby stopped breathing suddenly and was rushed to hospital. The doctors got his little heart pumping again but the damage was done. He was brain dead and he couldn't breathe on his own. The 17th of August Baby Scott fell asleep in mummy and daddy's arms.

The pain and suffering it has caused everyone involved is horrendous. We miss our wee lad every second. There's not a minute goes by he's not in our thoughts.

Please help the Scottish Cot Death Trust look for research so Cot Death is part of history. When mothers feel safe knowing their baby's are sleeping happily and are safe! Any donations are much appreciated. Thanks.
