Cardiff University Ladies Cricket Club are running a 2k race in cricket pads to fund basic sporting equipment for children at after school programmes and holiday camps in low income areas in St Lucia.

Our President, Izzy Gurney, volunteered as a cricket coach with the NGO United Through Sport in the summer of 2019, with these children from low income areas who were able to enjoy the fun experiences of the sporting opportunities brought by United Through Sport. This influenced the club to fundraise for this charity to ensure the continuity of its great work through the provision of more equipment to engage the children.

Any donation, however small, will be gratefully received and you will be contributing towards cricket equipment, supporting future volunteer coaches and sustaining United Through Sport's excellent work in St Lucia.
