Story

On the 4th June, my big sister's world was turned upside down, when she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer.

Lindzi has lumpy breast tissue for 12years since having her 12year old daughter Cobie and had regularly found lumps and gone to the doctors and hospital. It was however, this particular lump that was going to rock her world.

Lindzi is a nurse, she is a single mum to 2 daughters and so far this has been the worst year of her life. Things were already rough for her before the diagnosis with our Grandad been diagnosed with lung cancer, so imagine a breast cancer diagnosis too all in the same family.

So far Lindzi has has a bilateral mastectomy with latissimus dorsi flaps, expanders and reconstruction, 1week after this massive surgery she then found out that the tumor they removed was a massive 14cm big and she needed chemotherapy, radiotherapy, hormone therapy and ovarian suppression.

Lindzi has decided that before the chemo take her hair she is going to donate it to Little Princess's Trust who make wigs for children with illness's that make them lose their hair.

Please make a donation to this charity and let's find a cure for this shitty disease.

You can follow Lindzi's journey by reading her blog.
