The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

On November 7th 2015, I'm shaving all my hair off, along with my best friend, Kerri Moule.
In January 2015, my mum had thyroid cancer and had her thyroid removed, leaving her with a huge scar across and up her neck to her ear. She recovered well and positively, and went for a mammogram in July 2015. The doctors found 'masses' in her left breast and they were sent off for biopsies and my mum was diagnosed with invasive lobular carcinoma (fancy terms for breast cancer).
On September 1st, she is having a left breast mastectomy and reconstruction, which will be followed by chemotherapy and radiation. She has been told she will lose her hair.

I wish there was more I could do to help her, but by shaving my head, I hopefully can support her, make her feel like she's not alone and support anybody who is going through cancer treatment. The money that is raised will be going towards a charity called "Little Princess Trust" that provides real hair wigs to children who have lost their hair due to cancer. I am also donating my hair to this charity.

For anyone that knows me, you'll know how much I love my hair, so it is hard for me to shave it off but I love my mum more than I love my hair!

Thank you in advance to anyone that donates, it means the world xxx
