Story
This October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and I’ll be walking 100 Miles to raise money for Breast Cancer Now – the UK’s leading breast cancer charity.
As many of you know, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in January. Since then, I've had surgery, five months of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. I am fighting for my life alongside so many others - too many others.
I've only recently finished the most intense part of treatment but I am ready to start walking and fundraise for a charity who've been a huge support to me in this time.
During the 31 days of October, breast cancer will take almost 1,000 lives in the UK. They are mums and daughters, friends and colleagues. Someone loved. Someone lost.
Breast Cancer Now have a bold vision - that by 2050, everyone affected by breast cancer will live and live well. And every pound raised this October will help fund their life-saving science and life-changing support, so they can make their vision a reality.
Will you support me in going the distance for Breast Cancer Now? 🎀
