Within 12 short weeks of finding out Mom had ovarian cancer she sadly passed away on the 10th February 2024.

So myself and my family will each be walking 100km throughout March to help raise as much money as we can for ovarian cancer research.

I was told by my Moms consultant that 'Ovarian Cancer is known as the silent killer' as symptoms do not present themselves until the cancer has developed into later stages of the disease, as it did with my Mom. I really want to help change that.

This March, we’re joining thousands of others across the UK to take on the Walk in Her Name challenge.

We’re walking 100km throughout March to help fund life-saving ovarian cancer research.

With ovarian cancer, survival is more likely if it's caught early. However in the UK, 71% of women are diagnosed late and only 30% go on to live beyond 10 years.

Together, we can change that.

By supporting us in our challenge, we'll get one step closer to a future where ovarian cancer is diagnosed earlier, treated more effectively and women’s lives are saved.
