Following ten years of undiagnosed Crohn's Disease which ultimately resulted in bowel cancer, my eldest sister found herself facing reconstructive surgery which resulted in a permanent colostomy aged just 35. She now volunteers with the Colostomy Association to support others and raise awareness.
