Brighton Marathon 2021 · 12 September 2021 ·
As some of you may know, on Christmas Eve 2018 my dad had a stroke. This stroke was a 4cm bleed on his brain and it was clear at the time this was serious. My dad was kept in all over Christmas meaning we had to have Christmas dinner in the hospital and we even revealed the gender of our baby on a hospital ward.
Thankfully my dad was released from hospital but this was only the start. Still in 2021 my dad is in pain everyday and it has been a long and road with no end in sight!
Stokes can kill whilst leaving other paralysed, those lucky ones live with the knowledge they may never recover to be their former selves. I am running the Brighton marathon to raise money to help the stroke association carry out life saving research and support those who have had stokes get back to some normality.
Any donation would be amazing! Thank you!
