This week after an agonising wait we received the news that our best friend Shannon Thompson was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. Realising that Shannon will have to start chemotherapy soon as possible is devastating but has driven us on in raising awareness for this horrible disease. Seeing Shannon's positivity has made us realise how much of an amazing, beautiful and caring person she is and we couldn't ask for a better friend. 

On the 21st of June 10 of her best friends will be running the Race for Life for Shannon along with her friends and family. Kelly Rose has set up a very special group named "Shannon's Angels" who will be taking part too. We would really appreciate if family and friends can sponsor us in raising awareness for this disease.  Events like this are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer.
