Ellenor hospice played a big part in our families lives almost 30 years ago.

During 1997, my Mum, Joanne Sutherland, was supported by Ellenor. Not only did they support my mum during her end of life care, they supported us as a family; a husband and 2 young children aged 6 and 9, to make the process a little easier considering the journey we was on.

Unfortunately, on 30th August 1997, after the most courageous battle, we lost mum to cancer. Ellenor were there to support all of us during the most painful period any of us have experienced.

To this day, my family have remained supportive of Ellenor to ensure that other people are able to receive the care and support that we had all those years ago.

Ellenor is a local hospice supporting local people and every penny counts to help them provide the care that is so desperately needed for their patients and families.

Anything you are able to give to this amazing cause will be greatly appreciated.

I am running this awesome event not only for my mum but for all others who have lost a loved one.
