Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving Page.
Linda, my wife, died on the 22 March 2017 from breast cancer aged 62.
She fought against this dreadful disease for 4 years, and throughout this battle, she remained positive and never complained despite the effects of the chemotherapy, radiotherapy and other medication.
Linda's outlook to life was amazing; she liked to enjoy herself, have fun and was loved by all. Even during her illness, she tried to carry on as normal. It was only in the latter part of her illness that life became difficult.
Looking back, I was lucky to have met such wonderful person. She was a truly inspirational wife and mum who was always there for Mark, my son, and myself never mind her many relatives and friends. This was reflected by the amazing number of people at Linda's funeral.
In her memory, myself and Mark will be running 10k for 62 (Linda's age) consecutive days from Tuesday 17th October to Sunday 17th December. Anyone who wants to keep me company by walking or running a little bit with me is more than welcome; it doesn't matter how far - 1k will be fine.
All donations will be for Cancer Research.
Thank you,
Laurie
