Thank you for visiting this page. I'm Laurie, I am from Plymouth but currently studying music at Cardiff University. 

This summer (2022) I plan to go out to Uganda for a couple of weeks to volunteer with the charity Play Action International. Whilst there I will be primarily be helping the construction of playgrounds in the local area but also be aiding with education and music. 

To make this possible I am raising money for Play Action International. The charity was formed in 2009 with the aim of improving the lives of children living in extreme poverty and conflict in East Africa. They aim to do this by building play facilities to help with children's education and development whilst also providing apprenticeships for local young people. The whole of your donation will be going to this cause.
