Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page. I'm running the 2011 Virgin London Marathon and hoping to raise money for Emmaus Sheffield, a unique working Community for people who were formerly homeless and a place where they can feel safe, find friendship and support and hopefully begin to rebuild their lives.

The training is going well and I've ran 20 miles; the furthest I've ever ran non-stop in my whole life. It's hard, it's boring and I've been dogged by niggling injuries, coughs, colds, pulled muscles and shin splints. But I'm confident I'll do it in under 5 hours which isn't bad for a first attempt.

The iPod nano I got for Christmas has kept me going on the long and tedious training circuits around the village and around Clumber park on the weekends. So wish me luck and please give me your support.
