IRR is run entirely by volunteers, every penny donated goes directly to rescuing dogs. IRR's ethos is WELFARE FIRST, every dog is given every chance, no dog is too old, too sick or too expensive & we offer lifetime financial support to adopters of dogs with pre-existing medical conditions.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Ben was very upset when he saw a programme about dogs who had been abandoned and didn’t have a loving home. He asked if we could adopt lots of dogs but I suggested raising money for a dog charity instead.

Irish Retriever Rescue are a charity committed to safeguarding the future of abused, abandoned, neglected or simply unwanted golden retrievers and their closest relatives. They are run entirely by volunteers so all money raised goes to help the dogs.

Between 17th October -17th November 2020 Ben, Toby and Kate are going to run/walk and cycle 200 miles (Ben 100 miles, Toby 60 miles, Kate 40 miles). Half of their miles can be cycling and the other half walking/running.  With the weather getting colder and the days getting shorter fitting this in will be a challenge but they are all really motivated and can't wait to get started.

We are not expecting big donations but are aiming to get 100 people to give us £2 so we can reach our target!"

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
