Lets Beat Lupus

Kelle Bryan is raising money for Guy's & St. Thomas' Charity

Lets Beat Lupus · 4 November 2021

We’re the charity that supports the remarkable staff and exceptional care at Guy’s and St Thomas’. Together, we’re striving to be one step ahead for patients, staff and communities.

Story

Kelle Bryan, founding member of Britain's biggest ever selling R&B girl band 'Eternal' is a patron of the St Thomas Lupus Trust. A cause close to her heart as she herself was diagnosed with SLE (Systemic Lupus Erythematosus) in 2000 and has been battling the disease and its effects ever since.

Her commitment to changing the face of Lupus has been consistent, even through her last bout with the disease. With a simple kiss from her 2 year old daughter Kayori, 24 hours later Kelle found herself in intensive care with Pneumonia, later losing speech and movement. The campaign was initiated by Kelle, and the team to raise awareness of the disease and its debilitating effects. Some people don't even know they have it.
