In seven weeks (on 5 October) Dean Kelly and I welcome Recruitment Business owners to the island of Ibiza for the inaugural RDLC Global Recruitment Summit.

I want to get my body 'beach ready' in time for this event, and hope you'll sponsor me to lose 42lbs in 49 days; with all proceeds going to RDLC backed charity OPERA, The Global Youth Foundation.

OPERA provide practical and financial support for young people age 16-24 to find, gain and stay in work.  Their mission is to give young people and their employers the best possible chance of success and in doing so, empower young people to transform their lives.  

I started on Monday 21 August and am on a strict, monitored regime.  If every brand in recruitment supported me on this journey you would all get the pleasure of my pain whilst also doing something amazing and each supporting one young person.

I hope you’ll sponsor me £10 per lb lost.  That’s just £420 per company, if 100 recruitment businesses sponsor me we’ll raise an amazing £42K to present to OPERA in Ibiza to help them reach their goal of supporting 2,500 young people.
