Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity supports families who have a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness. When a child has a serious illness, family life is turned upside down and time becomes more precious than ever. Rainbow Trust pairs each family with an expert Family Support Worker who enables them to make the most of time together, giving them practical and emotional support, whenever they need it, for as long as is needed. We support the whole family including parents, carers, the unwell child, brothers, sisters and grandparents.

Here at LBT, on a very strange sunny day in the middle of March, Natasha and Chantelle amongst other team members where discussing the difficulties vulnerable children and their families must face with the rising costs of living and cuts in community funds and services. Natasha and Chantelle wanted to make a difference and decided to tick something off their bucket list at the same time, they decided to take on a skydive!

A quick google and a location found, the event was booked and the timer was set. On the 3rd September 2022 we will be jumping from a plane and hoping we can raise some serious cash to help make a difference to the lives of these vulnerable children and their families. whether this be mental support, physical support or to simply create awareness of the illnesses and challenges facing them.
