Team: Lara Cooper and Amy van der Hoven hair donation for charity - 8th March 2022
Lara & Amy's hair donation · 8 March 2022
In recognition of six years since Lara finished treatment, Lara, and her lifelong friend Amy have each decided to donate 12 to 16 inches of their beautiful hair to The Little Princess Trust, which provides free, real-hair wigs to young cancer patients to help restore their confidence and identity.
The girls are raising money for both The Little Princess Trust and The Royal Marsden.
This is the site for donations to The Little Princess Trust which was set up to provide free, real-hair wigs to young cancer patients to help restore their confidence and identity. The wig is free to the patient, but from receiving hair donations, through to fitting and styling a bespoke wig, it costs the charity from £550.
Lara and Amy are raising the first £550 so so The Little Princess Trust has enough money to produce a full wig. Monies over and above this amount they would like to go to The Royal Marsden.
The big haircuts are only days away - the hairdresser is booked for 8th March!! Do have a look at the gallery for pictures of Lara and Amy when they were 3 years old and now, age 9, with hair well below their waists!
Watch this space for updates after 8 March when we will post before and after photos!!
Please help Lara and Amy to smash their targets!!!
Thank you xx
