Story
In 2016 my twin brother was diagnosed with an aggressive
form of cancer and year later he was gone. The amazing team at St David’s Hospice provided palliative care throughout his courageous battle with the disease that allowed him to spend his final days at home with his family. I have seen first-hand the invaluable care and support they give to the patients and their families, whatever time of day or night. Jeremy passed away just before Christmas 2017 and
his passing has left a huge void in our lives.
This year we are cycling over 300 miles with over 26,000 ft of climbing from Cangas de Onis to Santiago de Compostela in Spain which includes the scenic Lagos de Covadonga climb in the Picos de Europa. This iconic and challenging climb has been used over 22 times in La Vuelta on the professional cycling tour as a summit finish. The climb from our start point is over 4,000 ft of vertical ascent with a steep ramp in the mid- section. This is the fourth leg of our circumnavigation of Europe by bicycle for our charities and with your incredible generosity we have raised over £100,000 to date.
We are completely self-funded so all of your donations go straight to our charities. If you are able to please do support us, every little helps and I know that your donations will make an incredible difference to
those that need it most.
