We are running 26.2 miles in the 2008 Flora London Marathon on behalf of JDRF to help find the cure for type 1 (juvenile) diabetes.  Type 1 diabetes is a chronic, life threatening condition which has a life-long impact on those diagnosed with it.  JDRF is the world's leading funder of type 1 diabetes reseach and the only charity dedicated solely to finding the cure.

So look out for us as part of the JDRF Team Pingu!  Pingu (the loveable penguin from the Antarctic) is JDRF's Team Mascot for the 2008 London Marathon!!
