Stockport Mind

We provide mental health support to support local people

Charity Registration No. 1119317

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

A group of us (6-9 TBC) are testing our mental and physical fortitude, and aiming to cycle 330km in less than 24 hours.

We set up the ride in remembrance of our mate Shaun Thomson coinciding with the 1st annual anniversary of us losing him - June 2nd 2019

Joining us on the ride is a friend of ours & Shaun's, who also lost his brother in similar tragic circumstances.

So we'll be completing these hard miles for Shauny, and also for Carl Staley - and everyone we may or may not know, who is suffering with the thoughts in their head.

The local (Stockport) charitable organisation MIND do an amazing job raising awareness of mental health, whilst offering a variety of support services for people who feel they need some extra support to manage their well-being

http://www.stockportmind.org.uk

We are therefore choosing to support MIND as part of this cycle, and aim to raise a pound per kilometre each ridden - minimum 6 riders, 330km each - so a £1,980 target

We appreciate you helping us reach this target and showing us some support in what will easily be each of our biggest physical challenge to date.

Please follow our training journey as well as a live feed on the day itself, over on Facebook!
