Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are a group of around 40 people, who through our mutual attraction of Tom Hardy, decided to have a face to face meet up to get to know each other better.  We first met each other through a FaceBook page and have become great friends in daily contact. Whilst deciding of what we could do during our weekend, we threw around various ideas.  One of which was a walk through Richmond Park.  This then developed further with a growing response of; If we are walking, why not do it for a good cause? So, that's how we arrived at a sponsored walk in Memory of Tom Hardy's dog Woody "Woodstock" Hardy. Woody died earlier this year  and it seemed appropriate that anything we did should be to remember him. Therefore, Battersea Dogs and Cats Home is our chosen charity, for many reasons: Tom's love of dogs, he is one of their Ambassadors,  and who doesn't love dogs?

Our walk is in February 2018 , we shall keep you updated with our fundraising during now and the day of the event. Obviously we would love you all to contribute a donation, no matter how big or small. It's for a great cause and we would all like to give our thanks to you all in advance.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
