A chance meeting with the wonderful Mike Locke, Wales’ Fundraising Manager for Bowel Cancer UK on what would have been my Father-in-Law’s 84th Birthday has inspired me to sort myself out and prepare to run again for the first time in 10 years by entering the Cardiff Half Marathon on 7 October for this special charity and in memory of John.

I’ll be ‘leading from the back’ in every sense... relying on my wonderful Senior Student Team at school to organise a whole range of fundraising events that get me to the start line in good financial shape, at least!
