As a volunteer for the CDYMCA both on a personal and professional level, I have seen first-hand the impact the Y has in our community.  From providing local families with school supplies and Thanksgiving dinners, to supporting families with terminally ill children, to providing support groups for cancer patients - the Y truly does it all.

As our community continues to navigate the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Y's programs have become even more essential.  This year, the Guilderland YMCA provided one hundred Thanksgiving dinners to families in need, a 25% increase from the prior year.  As a volunteer for this event, I saw first-hand the impact these meals had on the families who otherwise might not have been able to celebrate the holiday with their families.  Their joy and appreciation is why the Y does what it does - and why we need your help to sustain these programs.

As we work to build back from what has been a devastating pandemic, we are working to build a stronger, healthier community, with your help!
