I have set up this page because I am doing my Race for Life, and would appericate if people are to sponsor me if they was to do it on here, this way the money goes straight to the charity, in memory of my dear mum Andrea Charlesworth who passed away in January at a young age of 43 years old. My mum suffered from this terrible disease, but because there is so little research it went without knowing until she sadly passed away.  Pancreatic cancer only has a 3% survival rate that hasnt changed for 40 years and they dont get 1% of money that is raised for cancer. With the money I raise, this will be alot of money (hopefully) towards this charity.

Andrea was a loving mother to Me and my brother Luke. A grandmother to her grandson. A daughter, sister, bestfriend and friend. 

Even though this is a hard  time to go through, I am determined to make my mum proud by raising money to help more than 3% of people survive. Unfortunately my mum was one of the 97% who don't surrive and I know she would encourage me to do this race. 

I am taking part in the race with 2 other people that have gone through a similar experience to me and are raising for a charity of their own. We are doing the 5K race on the 8th of June 2014 at 2.30 at Nottingham Embankment.
