This is why I have joined the 2021 APIFM Walk the Walk Challenge... 

I have chosen to walk the walk because there are so many reasons to get out and walk whether it is for a cause like environmental justice and heathy food access, for your health or just to explore nature! 

APIFM is an amazing program based in Los Angeles that also has roots in the Central Valley! They support Asian farmers in the Fresno area in producing culturally relevant produce, and delivering fruits and veggies not only in the valley, but throughout communities in Los Angeles. 

This nonprofit program does so much for our communities and our earth, including advocating to protect the San Gabriel Mountains and state parks, all while launching an emergency CSA program at the start of the pandemic to provide produce to vulnerable elderly and low-income communities.
