I've suffered with Ulcerative Colitis since I was 15, I'm 31  ( chronic(on-gong) bowel disease ) It causes extreme fatique, blood loss from inflammation of the large intestine, leaves us with a low immune system and we need regular hospital trips. It's extremely painful. Its a very UNPREDICTABLE illness. There are 250,000 people in the Uk with Inflammatory Bowel disease, thats 1 in every 250 people. Ulcerative Colitis affercts 1 in 500. It has made my everyday living a lot more difficult. Not many people are aware of this HIDDEN DISABILITY, as we walk talk and look fine most of the time, its un-believed and misunderstood. Not many employers understand. Its a stress related illness, so the more I take on the worse I get. I struggle financially, socially, emotionally and physically, and don't have a great deal of time when I'am well to do all I'd like to do as the illness hits when it likes, and I'm stuck indoors with it.

 Im fundraising to do a TANDEM SKYDIVE for Chrones and Colitis UK. I'm in real need of a thrill :) please help me raise £1000 !! Your donations will help with awareness and understanding of this illness, with information leaflets and charity raised grants for people like me to have financial help. I cant get out a lot so I'm starting here :) This charity brings together people of all ages who have been diagnosed with IBD. My aim is to help with the awareness.

I would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to my DAD for all these years of supporting me :) being my carer, helping me keep a roof over my head and emotionally getting me through the last 15 years. I LOVE YOU X  and a HUGE THANK YOU to this charity for giving me a £300 grant for me to spend how I wanted - I bought a guitar and digital camera for me to get back into the hobbies I love x
