Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Me and my friend Gabi have been enjoying our spring bike rides and thought it would be good to take on the challenge of Tour De Broads on the 6th May this soon escalated due to wanting to make the most of our fund-raising efforts (bang for your buck). As you may know my family have recently suffered the devastating loss of my niece Hollie Marie who was born sleeping. A bright star in the sky who will forever watch over our family. Hollie's memory will forever live on with us however to raise money and awareness of Sands in her memory would make her star shine brighter.
Gabi is raising money for Clic Sargent in memory of our friend and Colleague Charlie Normington who sadly lost her life far to soon - www.justgiving.com/gabrielle-robinson1.
We are taking on the challenge of 8 cycle events over the course of 6 months:
6th May 25miles Tour De Broads
13th May 50miles Spring Sportive
24th June 63miles Ride IT Norfolk Sportive
1st July 70miles Cycle Swarm
5th August 50miles The Norfolk Sportive
19th August 100miles Tour De Broads
8th September 60miles Black Shuck Sportive
7th October 75miles The Autumn Classic Sportive
This totals 493miles if we hit our sponsor target we will do an extra 7 mile victory lap to bring the total to 500miles!!!
When writing this page the furthest we have cycled is 18miles but we are excited to take on this challenge to raise money and awareness for our chosen charities and I hope you enjoy following Our Journey/Photos/Videos and Blog. We will be keeping you posted with the highlights and no doubt the struggles.
