As many of you will know the kind staff at both Greenock and Port Glasgow Tesco are holding fundraising events on 22nd and 23rd of April 2011 as a thankyou to the wonderful staff at Yorkhills Royal Hospital for Sick Children on behalf of the family of Hannah Macleod. Hannah Macleod is being treated in their Intensive care ward following the car crash that killed her mum Donna and baby brother Noah, many family and friends had asked for a way to donate online as they are unabe to make it to the Greenock/Port Glasgow Tesco to donate so this page has been created to allow people to donate online. Yorkhill Childrens Foundation will recieve all donations raised from this page and from the instore events being held.
Yorkhill Childrens Foundation funds medical equipment and projects invaluable to the treatment, care, physical and mental well being of children and babies at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children at Yorkhll in Glasgow and at related facilities in the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde area.
Projects can include innovative medical equipment, improvements in child and family facilities and paediatric research and training. Scanners, incubators, ventilators, monitors and many more examples of equipment, services and research have been added to the hospital’s resources.
All are at work helping to make sick kids better.
