Story

Firstly, THANK YOU for taking the time to visit my just giving page. I can assure you, the money you donate will be going to an excellent cause.

As many of you know, I’m not the most athletic person in the world but that aside I am taking part in the Great Yorkshire Stair-Climb on 23 November.

So why am I braving the 522 steps of the tallest building in Leeds?

Well, this April I underwent surgery to treat ovarian cancer at the YCC. During my stay at the hospital and beyond, I received amazing care and support from everyone I met at St Jimmy’s, especially the angels working on Ward 98!

Their support was immense and priceless at a very difficult time for me and my family. I want to support their work and this is why I am doing this crazy challenge in November.

This charity is really important to me and I feel it’s my turn to give back and raise money to help them maintain the service and support they provide to their patients.

Any donations you could make, no matter how small, would be so gratefully appreciated in helping me raise my £500 target.

Thank you.
