Story
Well I did it! 44 people, 300km, 3 days. It was tough but a brilliant challenge.
The first day was in England and I never knew the north and South Downs were so like the Himalayas, blimmey I felt those hills. After nearly fainting and getting mowed down by crazy drivers I made it in time for the ferry!
Day two was rural France and the scenery was all cows and fields, but at 35 degrees alot of that was a bit of a daze.
Then finally day 3 and we were all so excited about finishing that doing 115km and starting at 7am seemed unimportant :-) It was great arriving at the Arc De Triumph.... at times I thought my legs would not make it but they did! yipee.
Medecins Du Monde are an amazing charity and I am so pleased that I did this bike ride for them. Please do go on their website if you want to know more.
So thank you for your donations and words of encouragement, when times were low that is what motivated me to keep going.
Thank you!
