Mencap Story; 

"Mencap wants a world where people with a learning disability gain an equal right to choice, opportunity and respect. 

This Learning Disability Week is more important than ever to raise vital funds to support people with a learning disability and their families.  

With the cost of living crisis mounting, if we don't act now, people with a learning disability will face insurmountable debt, homelessness and irreparable mental health issues 

People with a learning disability are in desperate need of our help before the winter approaches. You can help us to be there for them, and provide essential advice, support, and information.

With your help we can make a difference to the 1.5 million people with a learning disability in the UK"

The Learning Disabilities North Team, North Northants Council are super excited about helping to raise vital funds for Mencap during the Learning Disabilities Awareness Week.  

Please come along to our 'All Things Sweet' stall which is being held on Wednesday 22nd June at Patrick Road Resource Centre, Patrick Road, Corby, NN18 9NT between 09:30 - 12:30.  

All donations are welcomed via this JustGiving page, bringing along a sweet treat to add to the stall or donate a gift as a prize for the raffle.

Raffle Tickets will be available on the day, £1 a strip.  If you'd like to pre-buy some, please state within the donation notes so we can label your tickets for the day.
