Early on in 2014 I decided I would take on not 1 but 2 Marathons starting with Chelmsford and going on to London in 2015. At the time a school friend and also work colleague was having treatment for Cancer. To show my love and support I spoke to her about it and asked her what charity she would like the money to go to and her words were:

"You know what, Farleigh Hospice have actually been amazing to me and helped me so much so that would be fantastic. I have been genuinely shocked at the effort they go to and support they are able to give and all for free xx"
Sadly she is no longer with us but knowing that this charity helped someone in a time that was needed right till the end is worth raising money for. i have secured a place in the ballot but i would still like to raise money for this excellent charity and in memory of a dear friend.
