Story:

Mick worked most of his life in the building trade and his hobby was racing pigeons and not really have much ill health in his life. In January of 2009 he started showing signs of being unwell but unfortunately the illness wasn’t diagnosed until June the same year. Mick had terminal cancer and within 3 months he had passed away. During those months he carried on as normal as much as possible until a few weeks before his death. He has left a large void within the family, but is remembered by the affectionate term of grandad grumps by his grandchildren and his very quick wit by people who knew him. Mick was a good husband, father of 6 and grandad of 18.
