Story
In February last year, I lost a great friend to lung cancer.
He was a devoted father to three of my closest friends. It was a true pleasure to have known him and I count myself extremely lucky.
It is because of this that I want to raise some money for Thames Hospice who looked after Pete in his last days, for which we will be eternally grateful. The comfort they provided him and the support they provided his family meant those days together could be cherished.
There are many other families throughout the UK who require and deserve the same support that Pete and his family received. The service that Thames Hospice provide is absolutely free but they rely on donations to make up 80% of the running costs. That is why every penny that you're able to share is so vital to giving people invaluable time with their loved ones.
