bike ride challenge to the top of mount Teide · 3 June 2019 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am going to try to ride from the coast of Los Cristianos to the top of Mount Tiede Its summit (at 3,718 m (12,198 ft) is the highest point in Spain and the highest point above sea level in the island of the Atlantic. If measured from the ocean floor, it is at 7,500 m (24,600 ft) the highest volcano in the world. Many people have climbed the Mountain but i am going to try it none stop without a break. It is the longest continuous climb in Europe and many professional cyclists go to this Mountain in Tenerife for their winter training including the likes of the mighty Chris Froome.
Please support me in this challenge by donating to Finding Rainbows, a special charity that is close to my heart. The Charity was set up by my Sister Natalie after losing her Son Kaiden in 2012 and after finding there was a lack of help and support for families suffering from Child Bereavement in the local Community of Manchester.
All the flights and accommodation are paid for by myself and any/all donations will go straight to the Charity.
