When I started Couch to 5k three years ago it was my goal to eventually be able to run in the Great North Run. This is now a reality as in September I will be running the World’s biggest half marathon!

I will be running this event to raise money for Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity.

When parents hear the devastating news that their child has a life-threatening illness, their world can feel like it’s falling apart. The pandemic has piled further pressure onto these parents and children, without the support of friends and family to help them through it.
