The children's outpatients ward at Winchester Hospital, which we have used so many times in the past (and future) is currently running out of a portacabin. These children deserve so much more. The Magic Lion Appeal: Enhancing hospital care for children and young people in HampshireEvery day, children and young people in Hampshire need care and support.The Magic Lion Appeal aims to enhance hospital care for children and young people in Hampshire through improvements to our child health department at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT). By raising funds, were supporting a reconfiguration of child health space in Winchester and upgrades in Basingstoke, Andover and Alton. This will allow our patients to be seen in an environment that ensures they get the best possible care in a way that suits their needs.For all of us, coming into hospital can be scary. We want to make sure that whether its a first time visit or a routine appointment, children, young people and their families at HHFT feel as comfortable, safe and at ease as they can be. But we cannot do it without your help.
