So, I am giving myself my biggest personal challenge to date.  I have 10 months to get myself in tip-top condition, raise a vast amount of money as I prepare to walk along the Great Wall of China.

For those that know me well, are aware that I can quite easily sit on my sofa, watch the world go by whilst devouring a packet of chocolate biscuits.  Time for that to change...

I wanted to give myself a real challenge, an adventure, rip myself as far as possible from my comfort zone and raise money for this fantastic charity.  I will be doing a number of different events over the next twelve months in order to hit my target.  

Florence Nightingale Hospice are an amazing charity based in Bucks who offer first class support and care for patients where curative treatment is no longer an option.  Their emphasis is on quality of life and enabling their patients to maximise the time they have left with their loved ones.

Every penny really does help, so please, dig deep and give whatever you can.  I am treating my target as the minimum amount I wish to achieve.

I will be paying for my own vaccinations, insurances, visas etc (the target amount on this page includes the cost of the trip as well as an equal donation to Florence Nightingale Hospice).
