Abseiling the ArcelorMittal Orbit for Retail Trust · 9 July 2021 ·

From 1832 onwards, the Retail Trust has been caring for and protecting the lives of people working in retail. We believe the health of our colleagues is the foundation they need to flourish in both work and life, creating a more sustainable and successful future for retail.

Story

I’m fundraising for the Retail Trust by abseiling 262 feet down the ArcelorMittal Orbit, with some of my team on 9 July. We need your help.

The money raised will allow Retail Trust to support the retail’s frontline who have been affected by the pandemic, providing comprehensive counselling and financial aid, which can be lifesaving.

As an Ambassador for the trust, I couldn’t say no to this.

It doesn’t mean I have to do it alone, either.

So, I’ve roped in Alan Howard, Graham Price, Lou Stevens and Lisa Ridley to abseil the ArcelorMittal Orbit alongside me and the Retail Trust, colleagues from other retailers and supporting industries.

We have a fundraising target of £2,500 - but we know we can raise more!

So, dig deep and let’s help retailers in their time of need.
