Ronald McDonald House Charities provides free 'home away from home' accommodation at specialist children's hospitals across the UK, enabling families to stay close to their child and maintain a degree of normal family life.

When our son was 12 days old he needed CPAP to be able to breathe, our local hospital SCBU was unable to provide that level of care so he was blue-lighted 100 miles away to The Royal Manchester Children's hospital.

 Ronald Mcdonald House Manchester gave us a place to stay during his treatment, meaning we didn't have to drive for 2 hours everyday to see him and made a very scary situation that much less intimidating, at a time when we just needed to concentrate on him. 

I would like to raise £520 which is double the cost of our stay, so they can continue to support other families at this overwhelming time of their lives.
