Story

The Portsmouth Hospitals Charity aims to serve the patients of Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust by providing additional facilities, education and equipment to both patients and staff .The charity supports all of the wards and departments throughout the Trust, so from new borns to neurology, bones to brains, you can choose to support the particular area of the hospital that is close to your heart.

Hi my name is Lee and I work for the NHS at QA Hospital in Portsmouth. I currently work in HSDU cleaning, packing and sterilising medical sets used for theatres and devices for specific wards around the hospital. Our hospital is currently working flat out to help fight and prevent the Covid - 19 virus from spreading anymore then it already is. I would like to do something that can raise money in helping the hospital secure more PPE, sanitizer products or even just something that can help in the battle with this virus. Therefore I will be shaving my head and beard on Thursday 16th April at 8pm whilst clapping my fellow colleagues at the hospital and for every NHS worker around the country. So please, if you can spare a donation whether that be small or large then it would be gratefully appreciated in achieving my goal in Supporting my hospital. Thank you and please stay safe
