We support people at risk of homelessness to make sure there's a home for everyone

Charity Registration No. 263710

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm fundraising for a charity called Shelter through my business network at Barton Willmore. Homelessness is an issue close to us all. Nobody likes seeing homeless people on our streets. They can be scruffy*, begging*, alcohol or drug abusers* and have been known to be responsible for poor quality graffiti*.

*descriptions have been exaggerated for, ahem, comic effect*

Joking aside, Shelter carries out fantastic work battling the varied and complicated challenges around homelessness and bad housing. Visit their website for more info on their latest campaigns.

Over the next 6 months I've set up up my own campaign and challenged myself to raise money by running over 100km over four events. Between now and next April I will be running (a lot) and putting myself through an exercise regime unparalleled for me before.

I have set 3 milestones to build up to the grand finale in London on the 23 April, the London Marathon - something I've always wanted to take part in. On completion of that I will have run (officially) over 62 miles!

The crazy challenges are:

- Muddy Mo, Swinley 7 November 2016
- Wokingham Half Marathon 12 February 2017
- Reading Half Marathon 19 March 2017
- London Marathon 23 April 2017

Whilst I’m doing all this I would like to ask your support to help towards my financial targets, whilst I work on the physical targets.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity.

I'll be adding other fun fundraising events along the way and setting my own personal time targets as my training develops - so keep an eye on my social media updates.
