Providing facilities to nurture the potential of 400+ children in Nepal, the poorest country of Asia and provide safe playground space. Educating children out of poverty, giving each individual the opportunity to release their potential.

Story

Half of the children in Shree Rastriya are missing education since school buildings were left in ruins by 2015 earthquake and cyclone. Most children do not attend school due to having no learning environment, equipment, or toilets. The minority that does attend have to endure 43 deg in summer and freezing temperatures in Winter sat on floor using haystacks for comfort. This is in a very poor area, most children coming from low income and marginalized communities. We aim to raise funds to develop three earthquake resistant buildings, eight toilets, 100 desks and benches, repair three other existing buildings and fund provisions for learning/teaching. The whole project will cost over $70,000 USD. We are seeking support for this from many quarters, and any contribution which you make will help to improve the lives of 300 children and their families in this extremely poor area of Nepal.
