Story

Less than 24hours and £40 raised!!! Thankyou!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have worked with Southwest Ambulance Service Foundation Trust for 4 years as a volunteer. I work from RAF St Mawgan in our Rapid Response Vehicle and from my home as a community responder. Volunteer responders are essential in rural areas where patients could potentially be waiting a long time for an ambulance to arrive.

In these tough economic time ambulance services find it harder to keep frontline vehicles fully kitted and in the Southwest, this is where F.L.E.E.T come into their own. A lot of the equipment that I use from home and in our RRV has been donated by F.L.E.E.T to keep us on the road. This has ranged from uniform to an Automated external Defibrillator costing £2500.

F.L.E.E.T do an amazing job making sure frontline crews, volunteer responders AND the cornwall Air Ambulance have the most up to date lifesaving equipment they can get so lets make sure this continues!

So, the run, this is a 100 mile, 48 hour point to point foot race. This will be between Charlestown habour an Watergate bay. It is one of the highlights of the British Ultra marathon calendar and attracts runners from all over the world!

So no easy fete but one i intend to do well in!

Thank you all in advance for all donations given.
