On Saturday 24th September starting from Whingate church ( the home of the mighty 11th Leeds Boys Brigade) in Leeds, we plan to run along the Leeds to Liverpool canal, passed the 5 Rise Locks at Bingley and out towards Keighley, before returning back to Leeds. The return leg will see us finish back at Kirkstall Bridge after running a total of 50km (31.06 miles).

This will be our biggest running challenge to date, having only run a maximum of distance of 21km so far. We plan to build up to 32km during our training runs before attempting the final 50km challenge.  

We have both lost family and friends to cancer in recent years,  and have loved ones  undergoing cancer treatment at the moment. This is why the Cancer Care Fund at Bradford Hospitals is very close to our hearts, so any amount of money we can raise to support such a vital and worthy cause, we know will be much appreciated.
